Washington, April 27 -- When it comes to the loss of millions of hours of work productivity, it seems that instead of blaming their employees, bosses have to turn their wrath on hay fever.

A study of nearly 600 people with hay fever symptoms, including sneezing, watery eyes and runny and itchy noses, that was carried out by researchers at the Ohio State University, found that workers missed an hour of work per week thanks to hay fever.

And though an hour a week might seem like a very small amount of time, it adds up to a lot when bosses take note of the fact that millions of people take a sick day due to hay ...
