Article: Research yields novel GM-gene-deletor

A novel technique that could prevent the flow of transgenic genes into non-GM crops has been reported as a result of a collaborative study between researchers at the University of Connecticut (Storrs, USA); University of Tennessee (Knoxville, USA); and Southwest University, Chongqing, China. Details of the study were published in the March 2007 issue of Plant Biotechnology-Journal (5:263-274, 2007).
