Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) remains one of the fastest growing airports in the United States. In the January March 2007 period, total passengers grew 9 percent over the same time period in 2006, punctuated by March's recordsetting 11.1 percent increase. The 230,829 passengers who used Palm Springs International in March made it easily the busiest month in the history of the Airport.

Continued interest in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley as a destination from all across the US and the world, coupled with a healthy national economy, helped fuel the increase.
