Article: GEORGIA EDUCATOR NAMED PROVOST AT UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AT FORT SMITH

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith issued the following news release:

Dr. Ray Wallace of Jonesboro, Ga., has been named provost/senior vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith effective July 1, according to Dr. Paul B. Beran, chancellor.

Dr. Wallace is currently dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of English at Clayton State University, a public university in the Atlanta suburb of Morrow, Ga. At Clayton State, he has administrated the largest academic unit of the university, developed six new undergraduate degrees and the university's first graduate degree program, offered and supported international opportunities for students ...
