Washington, May 9 -- A recent research has found that 100 percent juice is not linked to young children being overweight or at risk for becoming overweight.

Researchers at the USDA Children's Nutrition Research Center at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston confirmed the findings using the same database that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) used to verify the rise in obesity rates.

The research has looked at dietary intakes of 3,618 children aged between 2 to 11 years using the recognized National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES).
