The city of Commerce City issued the following news release:

For the more than the 2.5 million visitors ages 1 to 101, the Commerce City Recreation Center has provided that "something" for everyone for two decades.

For those who want to get into shape, or may want to relieve some stress, the Recreation Center has state-of-the-art weight machines, cardio equipment and an indoor running track. If that's not enough, there are three gym courts, an indoor swimming pool, a gymnastics center, older-adult activity center and three racquetball courts. For incentive or instruction, the Recreation Center has qualified, knowledgeable staff to get you on an effective program.
