Northwestern University issued the following news release:

The Northwestern University School of Music's June music highlights will include individual performances by the University's Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra and Early Music Ensemble.

Beginning in late June the National High School Music Institute (NHSMI), an integral part of the School of Music, will offer students interested in music careers the opportunity to work with Northwestern University music faculty. These outstanding young musicians will perform throughout the summer as soloist and in large and small ensembles. More information on NHSMI events will be included in the Summer 2007 Music calendar.
