Article: GOV. FREUDENTHAL PROCLAIMS MARCH 21 AS 'WYOMING AGRICULTURE DAY'

Gov. Dave Freudenthal, D-Wyo., issued the following proclamation:

WHEREAS, we celebrate the first day of Spring 2007, it is appropriate that we reflect on the contribution agriculture makes to Wyoming's heritage, economy, and quality of life. It is fitting that we take this occasion of renewed life to acclaim and honor the vital contributions of our farmers and ranchers; and

WHEREAS, a cornerstone of Wyoming's financial stability, agriculture has an estimated economic impact over $900 million.
