Minnesota State Rep. John Ward, DFL-District 12A, issued the following news release:
State Rep. John Ward (DFL-Brainerd) was pleased to learn last week that the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Board recently approved an award for a Brainerd housing project.
According to Ward, $350 thousand has been awarded to the Region Five Development Commission to be used for interim construction financing to create new homes in Brainerd's Oaks development. Partners include the Minnesota Department of Corrections Institutional Community Work Crews, the Brainerd Housing and Redevelopment Authority and a local licensed general contractor.
