The Georgia Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Today, the Morris News Service article "Critics say ethics bill contains loophole" points out that Gov. Sonny Perdue's Ethics Bill has a provision that "could open a massive loophole allowing candidates to pour in unlimited donations from contributors." Republicans put the provision in to help Gov. Perdue whitewash his own ethics problems, currently under investigation by the State Ethics Commission. [Larrabee, "Critics say ethics bill contains loophole," Augusta Chronicle, 3/31/2005
