Barton County Community College issued the following news release:
Barton County Community College will offer a Continuing Nursing Education Seminar titled "S.M.A.R.T. Coaching." The course deals with the challenges of managing people in the workplace, and the letters in the acronym stand for Strategic, Motivational, Authentic, Rewarding, Team-building.
Participants will learn to determine the values of employee coaching and develop a mindset for coaching, verbalize the value of listening in the coaching process, discuss coaching "how-to" strategies, and promote the team concept among staff.
