Hudson County Community College issued the following news release:
Hudson County Community College President Dr. Glen Gabert said that the College's 2007 Heritage Award will be given to Jersey City businessman and community leader Rajendra (Raju) Patel. The award will be presented at the College's 29th Commencement Ceremonies on Thursday, May 24th at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held in Prudential Hall at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. More than 600 students will receive their diplomas that evening, making the Class of 2007 the largest graduating class in the College's history.
