The California State University issued the following press release:
California Department of Aging Director Lynn Daucher was honored this week by the California State University with the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for her work in improving the state's public education systems. Daucher received the award March 19 during the CSU's annual Legislative Day luncheon at the Sacramento Convention Center.
Daucher most recently served in the California State Assembly representing the 72nd District as chair of the Committee on Aging and Long Term Care. She was also a member of the Budget Subcommittee on Education and the State Allocation Board.
