Get out your best ribbon shirt, or your little black dress and high-heeled moccasins. The awards are coming to town.

Set for March 16 at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium, this 14th edition of the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards promises to be a scorcher.

Rising star Adam Beach, one of Canada's top actors, will host the show and Jennifer Podemski, award-winning producer and actress, heads up the production team as Creative Producer.

Beach is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Victor Joseph in Smoke Signals, and he also played opposite Nicholas Cage in Windtalkers, about Navajo "code talkers" who used their language as a secret code during World War Two. More recently, he appeared ...
