The Tennessee Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Yesterday, Rep. Marsha Blackburn was one of only 20 House members to vote against strengthening ethics rules. Blackburn has chosen to defend and work to protect the Republican Majority Leader. In the name of power, Rep. DeLay has become a corrupt House Leader whose unethical and immoral behavior has earned him four admonishments from the House Ethics Committee. DeLay's admonishments include:
* K Street Project - "Ethics Panel Chastises DeLay for Threatening Trade Group;" threatening the Electronics Industries Alliance for not electing a Republican as President.
