Article: STATE REP. WARD APPLAUDS INCLUSION OF LOCAL PROJECTS IN HOUSE BONDING BILL

Minnesota State Rep. John Ward, DFL-District 12A, issued the following news release:

State Rep. John Ward welcomed the news that funding for several local projects made the cut in the House Capital Investment Bill.

A proposal by Rep. Ward for Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area was approved, allocating $125 thousand to add trails to the area.

"This funding gets us another $700 thousand in matching funds from the federal government and the National Trail Bike Association," said Ward. "I'm very appreciative of the support the proposal got from the members of the Capital Investment Committee."
