Article: Italian Inventors Develop Digital Data Storing Semiconductor Memory

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 24 -- Rino Micheloni of Turate, Italy, and Roberto Ravasio of Carvico, Italy, have developed a memory system comprising a semiconductor memory.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "memory system comprising a semiconductor memory for storing digital data, said memory being connectable to a control device in order to receive an address signal and to make data selected through the output-available address signal."

An abstract of the invention, released by the Patent Office, said: "The system is characterised in that it comprises a generating circuit for activating a wait signal to be forwarded to the control device during reading ...
