Alabama Department of Environmental Management issued the following public notice:
Account Code: 215
Pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Environmental Management Act, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management is proposing to issue an Order to Singi Reddy, located at Carl's Vulcan Food Mart, 125 6th Ave. S.E., Decatur, Alabama.
The violations consisted of: failure to report leak detection and failure to respond to ADEM's requests for information.
The order, if issued, would require the owner/operator to pay to the Department a civil penalty in the amount of $1500 and comply with all applicable requirements for each underground storage tank.
