NEW DELHI, India, May 23 -- Gorkhas are definitely the brave hearts of the Indian Army. But now, the formation is finding it difficult to recruit soldiers from insurgency-ravaged Nepal. Every year, Indian Army recruits new batch of young Gorkha soldiers from different parts of the Himalayan Nation.
And with the dream to serve the elite Army of the southern neighbour, more than 50,000 youths attend the recruitment rallies. But, because of the deteriorating law and order crisis in Nepal, the Indian Army for the first time organized a recruitment camp at Nautanwa in Uttar Pradesh that ended on Wednesday.
