A seven-member business development delegation from Rhode Island visited Nassau May 13-15 under the auspices of the Rhode Island National Guard State Partnership Program with The Bahamas. The United States Embassy teamed up with the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and the Bahamas Development Bank to bring the Rhode Island delegation together with members of the Bahamian business community and government officials.
