NEW DELHI, India, May 28 -- The Government of India's Ministry of External Affairs issued the following press release: The Union External Affairs Minister, Shri Pranab Mukherjee was received for an hour-long discussion by Libyan leader H.E. Col. Muammer Al Gaddafi at his desert camp near the coastal town of Sirte, yesterday.

After a two-day visit to Cyprus, Libya is the second stop for Mr. Mukherjee, who is on a four-nation tour. The wide-ranging discussions were held in a very warm and cordial atmosphere.
