Salem Community College issued the following news release:
For the 2007-2008 school year, Salem County Vocational-Technical School students who successfully complete certain Tech Prep programs will be eligible to receive advanced college credits from Salem Community College.
Tech Prep is a sequenced program of study that usually begins in 11th grade and continues through two years of technical school. Students enroll in programs that provide technical preparation in selected career fields, and they may receive technical school or college credit for work completed at the high school level.
