Article: REP. DAVIS DENOUNCES PASSAGE OF FY2008 BUDGET CONFERENCE REPORT

Rep. Geoff Davis, R-Ky. (4th CD), issued the following news release:

Today, Rep. Geoff Davis voted against the FY2008 Budget Conference report and against the second largest tax increase in history. The FY2008 Budget passed the House by a vote of 214 to 209.

Congressman Davis stated, "I voted against this legislation and against tax increases for our working families and small businesses. Time and again, Democrats have demonstrated that they cannot be trusted with the taxpayers' money.
