Article: Apple juice may help ward off asthma in kids

London, May 29 -- Boffins have found out that children who gulp down a lot of apple juice might be protected from developing asthma.

The study was conducted by a team of researchers led by Dr Peter Burney at the National Heart and Lung Institute.

As part of the study, researchers analysed schoolchildren who were five to 10-years-old in the Greenwich area of London.

Researchers asked their parents about their kid's fruit consumption and whether they had any asthma symptoms.
