Gov. Bill Richardson, D-N.M., issued the following press release:
Gov. Richardson Task Force on Ethics Reform returns to work next week, to evaluate the results of the 2007 legislative session, and make recommendations for new ethics reforms and on a possible special session.
"We've accomplished a great deal on ethics reform--passing limits to gifts, amendments to the Governmental Conduct Act, and public financing for judicial campaigns-but our work is not done. This renewed task force has a great deal to consider including the need for a special session dedicated to ethics reform," Governor Bill Richardson said.
