Kean University issued the following news release:
New Jersey has been selected as one of 16 Schools to Watch states through the partnership of Kean University and the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE). Sponsored by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform Program, this program will work with several organizations to identify Schools to Watch, middle-grades schools that are academically excellent, developmentally responsive, socially equitable, and have the organizational supports to sustain the schools' success. The institutions selected will serve as models of what high-performing middle-grades schools can achieve and will guide aspiring schools to success.
