Article: Vegetable oil recycling center opens in Blair

BLAIR, Wis. - Businesses use it to fuel their furnaces or heat their water.

Some businesses and individuals convert their automobiles to run on it.

"It" is used vegetable oil, which the new Coulee Region Bio-Fuels LLC has begun collecting, recycling and selling for use as fuel.

Dozens of businesses and individuals attended an open house Wednesday at the new firm's recycling and distribution center, 509 Fourth St., at Hwys. 53 and 95 in Blair. The center shares a building with a car wash, and is next to the local Kwik Trip.
