The Vermont Department of Health issued the following news release:

The Vermont Department of Health will host the 2007 National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors (NASADAD) annual meeting June 7-10 at the Wyndham Hotel in Burlington.

More than 300 state alcohol and substance abuse directors, and treatment and prevention leaders from across the country, will come together to share ideas on how to strengthen prevention, treatment and recovery support programs.

Gov. James Douglas will provide opening remarks on Friday, June 8 at 9:15 a.m., and will introduce the featured speaker, Terry Cline, Ph.D., administrator for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services ...
