No university in the state has anything that compares to the Texas Folklife Festival's three days of ethnic dance, authentic foods, traditional crafts and musical performances. The festival brings together more than 40 cultural organizations, each with unique traditions and customs.
UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures welcomes some 130,000 visitors every year, a significant number of them grade school students coming to learn about Texas history and the great cultures of their state.
