Article: Healthy diet-exercise combo can halve mortality risk in breast cancer survivors

Washington, June 9 -- Breast cancer survivors can halve the risk of dying from the disease if they eat a healthy diet and exercise moderately regardless of their weight, suggests a longitudinal study from the Moores Cancer Center at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).

Published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, this is the first study to look at the impact of a combination of both healthy diet and physical activity on breast cancer survival.
