The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks issued the following news release:
Young anglers who don't have their own rod can still go fishing if they visit one of several fishing-tackle check-out sites located along the Hi-Line.
The fishing-tackle check-out program is administered by Fish, Wildlife and Parks and works just like checking a book out from the library. Youngsters get to pick out the pre-rigged rod they want to use, sign it out, and then bring it back within a reasonable amount of time in good working order.
Fish, Wildlife & Parks maintains about a dozen sites in public venues throughout Region 6 where fishing rods with close-faced casting reels can be checked out, used, and ...
