New York State Sen. John A. DeFrancisco, R-Syracuse (50th District), issued the following news release:
Sen. John A. DeFrancisco (R-I-C-WF, Syracuse) today announced that the New York State Senate has passed property tax reform legislation that could result in the elimination of residential school property taxes in school districts that vote to phase out property taxes over five years. The tax revenue would be replaced with additional State funding.
