The city of Hickory issued the following press release:

A team of 28 people are ready to represent Hickory June 6 - June 9 in Anaheim, Ca and tell "Hickory's Story."

The All-America City team invites the community to watch the presentation on Tuesday, June 5 at 7 p.m. at the beginning of the Hickory City Council Meeting. The City Council meeting will be held at the Julian G. Whitener Municipal Building at 76 North Center Street.

The All-America City Team is made up of city and business leaders and representatives from Exodus Homes, Hickory Public Schools' Project Potential and the Hickory Metro Higher Education Center. Team members are: Mayor Rudy Wright, Donna Wright, City Councilwoman ...
