The University of Alabama at Birmingham issued the following news release:

The Alys Stephens Center's ASC Social Club heats up for the new 2007-08 season with "ASC Social Club Goes Bollywood," an Indian-themed party at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at the center, 1200 10th Ave. S.

Guests at the ASC Social Club Bollywood party will be treated to belly dancers moving throughout the crowd and enjoy delicious Indian food from Taj India, great music, Bollywood movies, a cash bar and fun prizes, in the center's new Haskell Courtyard.

The event is free to ASC Social Club members; members also will receive two drink tickets at the door. Tickets are $10 for the general public. Call 205-975-2787 for ...
