Article: Sen. Salazar Introduces Iraq Study Group Recommendations Implementation Act

WASHINGTON, June 15 -- Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colorado, has introduced the Iraq Study Group Recommendations Implementation Act of 2007 (S. 1545), legislation that would "implement the recommendations of the Iraq Study Group."

The bill, introduced on June 5, was co-sponsored by Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tennessee; Mark Pryor, D-Arkansas; Bob Bennett, R-Utah; Robert P. Casey Jr., D-Pennsylvania; Judd Gregg, R-New Hampshire; Blanche Lincoln, D-Arkansas; John E. Sununu, R-New Hampshire; and Susan Collins, R-Maine. It was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
