Article: Utah Inventors Develop Modular Power Line Network Adapter

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- Alan K. Walbeck of Sandy, Utah, Dan B. Haab of Springville, Utah, Kevin L. Hurst of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Vaughn R. Staheli of Payson, Utah, have developed a feed-through power line network adapter.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A modular feed-though adapter that allows an electrical connection to a power line network adapter without 'using up' an electrical outlet is described. In one embodiment, the modular feed-through adapter also provides noise filtering to protect electrical equipment plugged into the feed-through outlet.
