Article: MAYVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY RECEIVES $1.9 MILLION DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION GRANT

Mayville State University issued the following news release:

Mayville State University has been selected to receive $1.9 million under the Strengthening Institutions Program (CFDA #031A) of the United States Department of Education. The grant will be distributed over a five-year period beginning October 1, 2007.

The Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) provides grants to eligible institutions of higher education to enable them to improve their academic quality, institutional management, and fiscal stability. The grants also enable the educational institutions to strengthen their capacity to make a substantial contribution to the higher education resources of the nation.
