London, June 17 -- Prince William has initiated a final bid to get the Spice Girls to reunite for his mother, the late Princess Diana's concert.

According to sources, the British royal has been in touch with Victoria Beckham to try and lock the all-girl band for the July 1st Wembley Stadium gig.

And the good news is that the girls are considering the royal proposal.
