Article: Sen. Collins Introduces Energy Independence, Clean Air, Climate Security Act

WASHINGTON, June 19 -- Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, has introduced the Energy Independence, Clean Air, and Climate Security Act of 2007 (S. 1554), legislation that would "comprehensively address challenges relating to energy independence, air pollution, and climate change facing the U.S."

The bill, introduced on June 6, was co-sponsored by Sen. Joe Lieberman, ID-Connecticut. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
