* Steven C. Ploetz has been named to the board of directors of Bankers' Bank, Madison, Wis. Ploetz is president and CEO of The Bank of Prairie du Sac, Wis.

Ploetz has worked in banking since 1977 and became president of his bank in 1990.

* Richard D. Lavolette has joined the Michigan Bankers Association as director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, a newly created position. He had worked at the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Services. Lavolette had been with the office for more than 10 years.
