The State University of New York at Stony Brook issued the following news release:

Jorge M. Mallea, M.D., Assistant Professor of Medicine and a specialist in Sleep Medicine, has been named Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center, a Stony Brook University Medical Center state-of-the art facility located in Smithtown, N.Y. Appointed by Richard N. Fine, M.D., Dean of the School of Medicine, Dr. Mallea heads a multidisciplinary staff that includes neurologists, pediatricians, and other specialists caring for those who suffer from sleep disorders and related conditions.
