Article: Woman offended by items on replacement cable box

BASS RIVER TOWNSHIP - A 56-year-old grandmother said she was shocked to discover more than a dozen NC-17 rated programs saved on a cable box that was delivered to her home by Comcast technicians on Monday.

Shortly after cable technicians delivered a replacement cable box to Donna Allman's home on Monday morning she attempted to program the box - which has digital video recording capabilities - to record the season premiere of "The Closer," but discovered the cable box's memory was already 85-percent full.

Occupying the space was an array of programs saved by the boxes previous owner, including 15 titles that Allman said she believed were pornographic in nature.
