Article: All Healthy Children Act Introduced in Senate by Sen. Sanders

WASHINGTON, June 21 -- Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, has introduced the All Healthy Children Act of 2007 (S. 1564), legislation that would "amend the Social Security Act to provide health insurance coverage for children and pregnant and post-partum women throughout the U.S. by combining the children and pregnant women health coverage under Medicaid and SCHIP into a new All Healthy Children Program."

The bill, introduced on June 7, was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
