Article: Diablos men fall to Queen City FC

BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP - The officials had a difficult time at St. Augustine Prep on Sunday.

The Atlantic City Diablos men's soccer team's game against Queen City FC (Buffalo, N.Y.) included fouls, shouting from coaches, and an on-field incident that nearly escalated into a fistfight.

Unfortunately for the Diablos, they had just as tough a time as the officials, losing 2-0.

"We created an incredible number of opportunities to score, and we didn't take the chances," Diablos coach Matt Driver said.

Queen City's Al Franjoine put his team on the board when he scored on a penalty kick midway through the first half. Rudi Costa then made it 2-0 with just 27 seconds left in the first half.
