Article: INNOVATIVE EELGRASS TRANSPLANT AT POST POINT LAGOON

The city of Bellingham issued the following news release:

Washington Conservation Corps crews will transplant eelgrass from Bellingham Bay into the Post Point Lagoon. The eelgrass is required to be removed from the bay off Marine Park to accommodate replacement of the Post Point Wastewater Treatment Plant alternate outfall.
