Article: Arizona Inventors Develop Low Profile Evaporative Cooler

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 10 -- John G. Kucera of Mesa, Ariz., and Roger C. Palmer of Scottsdale, Ariz., have developed a low profile evaporative cooler.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A low profile side inlet evaporative cooler including a housing having a housing length width at least twice the housing width. A centrifugal blower draws air through two side inlets through and through a rigid evaporative cooling media."

The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,237,401 on July 3.

The patent has been assigned to AdobeAir Inc., Phoenix.
