Article: CITY OF BOULDER'S GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS AND CLIMATE ACTION PLAN TO BE DISCUSSED NEXT WEEK

The city of Boulder issued the following news release:

The city of Boulder's Office of Environmental Affairs invites business owners and local residents to an informational session to discuss greenhouse gas emissions and the Climate Action Plan (CAP) from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, at the Boulder Public Library Auditorium, 1000 Canyon Blvd.

At the July 10 regular Council meeting, city staff announced an increase in 2006 greenhouse gas emissions by four percent over 2005 numbers. Topics to be discussed at the informational session will include:

* Climate Smart - a Boulder County campaign to reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
