The New York State Senate (majority) issued the following news release:
The New York State Senate today introduced a revised New York City congestion pricing bill supported by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and will advance the measure to the Senate floor for a vote on Monday, July 16.
Senate Majority Leader Joseph L. Bruno called on Governor Spitzer to exercise his leadership and urge Senate Democrats to support the revised bill. In addition, Senate staff have requested five-way meetings with the Governor's office, the Senate Minority and the Assembly to review details of the bill.
