The city of Tualatin issued the following news release:

The Tualatin Police Department is calling it's first ever Celebrate Safety a "huge success. The event took place on Saturday June 30. The attendance was estimated at over 100 people.

Joining the Tualatin Police at the event was the Child Safety Seat Resource Center, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, the Washington County Sheriff's Office, The Tualatin Chamber of Commerce Leadership class, the City of Tualatin Youth Advisory Committee and the Tualatin Lions Club.

A leading attraction of the event was the free car seat inspection clinic. During the four-hour period, 39 families received free installation and inspection of their child ...
