Rep. Michael Ferguson, R-N.J. (7th CD), issued the following press release:
Rep. Mike Ferguson, R-N.J., announced Friday that the Cranford Fire Department will receive a $31,500 grant from the Homeland Security Department to purchase new safety equipment.
Ferguson made the announcement at the Union County township's fire department with chief Leonard Dolan and other fire officials.
The funds will help underwrite the cost of purchasing a cascade air system, which allows firefighters to refill their self-contained breathing tanks.
